Is this a browser extension?

No. A bookmarklet is a bookmark whose URL is a small JavaScript program. It has no background process, no install, no permissions, and it only runs on a page when you click it. That's the entire security model.

Does it read the pages I visit?

Only the page you're on, only at the moment you click it, and only to autofill a name and image into the form. Nothing is sent anywhere until you sign a transaction.

Do I need to connect a wallet?

For a real launch, yes — any Solana wallet with a browser adapter. WIRE builds the transaction; your wallet approves it. There's no deposit step and no account to create.

What does it cost?

1% of the initial liquidity you seed, taken at launch, plus the network's own rent and priority fees. No subscription and no listing charge.

Which chains are supported?

Solana at launch. Base and Hyperliquid are next in the queue — the panel is chain-agnostic, only the transaction builder swaps out.

Is the button on this page live?

Can I edit the token after it's live?

Metadata stays mutable for 10 minutes after the mint so you can fix a typo or swap the image, then authority is burned automatically.

What happens if WIRE goes offline?

Tokens you've already launched are ordinary SPL mints with ordinary pools — they don't depend on us. The bookmarklet itself keeps working for as long as its RPC endpoint answers.
